Finance and Administration
Led by Doug Tremblay, Finance and Administration supports FMD in achieving its mission, vision and goals by providing financial and analytical expertise. The unit consists of five main areas:
Accounting This area is responsible for accounting, financial analysis, payments, budgeting, and reporting for operations, zone projects, and major capital projects. They also manage the utilities supply, as well as provide accounting, budgeting, multi-year financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support utilities operations and infrastructure.
Human Resources - This area provides human resources administration and internal consultation in areas such as recruitment, resource planning, performance management, labour relations, and diversity.
Organizational Development – This area provides organizational training and development and leads continual improvement initiatives to advance individual, team, and organizational performance.
Business Planning - This area provides analysis and strategic business support to increase the effectiveness of FMD’s services.
Capital Renewal and Strategic Analysis this area is focused on capital renewal planning and coordination and supports the implementation of FMD's integrated plan and performance reporting framework
