Under the direction of Brian Bjorndal, Workplace Safety & Environmental Protection (WSEP) works in partnership with the University community to create a place of work, learning and research that is free of anticipated and recognizable hazards and preventable incidents.

WSEP is a valuable resource that provides information and training in safety and advisory services to the University community in meeting regulatory compliance Programs and services offered include: Biosafety, Chemical, Contractor, Environmental, Occupational, Fire, Radiation, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and Hazardous Waste Management.
